incredible change

i return from an extended absence. however not at full bore.
just trying give myself something to do and get things back to the way they used to be even though things are so much different.
my little hiatus was to take care of my mother while she battled with cancer. her battle finally overtook her and she passed away last week. the last couple of weeks have been hell. but i wouldn't trade it for anything less. knowing that my mom was comfortable and where she wanted to be was enough to know that i was doing the right and best thing.

strange not having that little woman around. she will be greatly missed.

and yes mom, i'll remember your rules.
